Pete Carroll To Move Into Advisor Role With Seahawks

  Seahawks and Head Coach Pete Carroll, who holds the record for the most wins in franchise history over 14 seasons, have mutually agreed on a transition in his role, moving from head coach to an advisory position within the organization, as announced by Seahawks Chair Jody Allen on Wednesday. "After thoughtful discussions and careful consideration for the best interests of the franchise, we have reached an amicable agreement with Pete Carroll to transition from Head Coach to remain with the organization as an advisor," stated Allen in a release.
